She Talks To Dead People. She Says They Call Her Out By Her Name.

Ever since the Sixth Sense was released in 1999, communication with the dead has become a more commonly covered topic. My first thought when I heard that the novel relied on this premise was, "This has all the makings of yet another Sixth Sense." After I evaluated this statement, I decided to reserve judgment until I begin reading the novel. Perhaps the author does not approach the subject matter for the same viewpoint. Maybe the author came up with the storyline to test her abilities as a writer. Finally, is the entire book about this subject or is this just one piece of a larger puzzle?

I believe that this book will be an good read. It will be interesting to see exactly how she uses the premise in terms of the story. I expect, by the time I am finished with the novel, my questions will be answered.
